Checklist for Pullman Graduate Students

  • If you are in good standing with the University and wish to return next semester, you may register as a continuing student. If you do not return next semester and wish to register at a later date, you must complete a Request for Re-Enrollment.
  • Any amount you owe to Washington State University must be paid in a timely manner to avoid being referred to a collection agency, which could result in additional fees and a negative entry on your credit record.
  • Withdrawing from the term may affect your health insurance. Contact your personal health insurance provider if you have questions, or if you are on an assistantship, please contact Benefit Services.
____ Complete the On-line Current Term Withdrawal Form. Other arrangement can be made by contacting us at saligum@wsu.edu or by calling (509) 335-1446.
____ University Housing: If you have a housing contract, you must cancel your contract by using the online termination process.
____ Student Accounts. Review your account to ensure that you are aware of outstanding loans, parking fines, library or telephone charges, medical fees, etc. before you leave the campus. Transcripts will not be issued to you, another school, or a potential employer if you have an outstanding balance on your account.
____ Financial Aid. Withdrawing from the current term may affect your financial aid status. The cancellation of aid may result in your owing money to WSU, or in the repayment of aid being required, if the aid cancelled exceeds the amount of WSU charges cancelled. Contact the Office of Financial Aid ((509) 335-9711) for complete details on how your withdrawal may affect your current and future financial aid status.
____ Optional Student Medical Insurance. If you have purchased optional student medical insurance and wish to receive a partial or full refund please contact Health and Wellness Services, Washington Building (335-8216).
____ Student Health and Wellness Services Fee. Upon withdrawing from the University, the health fee will be reduced according to the same percentages per week as for tuition and fees, as long as no health services have been provided to the student. A refund of the health fee may be denied if the student has utilized health services during the semester. Contact: (509) 335-6759 if you have questions.
____ Parking Permit. Contact Parking Services at (509) 335-PARK (7275) for information regarding your parking permit.
____ Sports Pass. Refunds, when applicable, may be obtained by applying in person at the Athletic Ticket Office. Contact the Ticket Office at (509) 335-9626 for assistance.
____ Computer Lab Pass Partial Refunds. Refunds, when applicable, may be obtained by applying, in person, at any of the Student Computing Services Labs.
